1. Your agreement
These terms form an agreement between you and ReelBounty when you create a creator account or use creator features. The Acceptable Use Policy, Payouts & Refunds Policy and each accepted bounty brief also apply. If a brief conflicts with these terms, these terms govern unless ReelBounty expressly says otherwise.
2. Eligibility and account accuracy
- You must be at least 18, legally able to contract and permitted to receive payouts in your country.
- Use your real identity and accurate tax, country, social-account and payout information.
- Only connect social accounts you own or are authorised to use, and keep login credentials secure.
- One person must not use multiple accounts to evade restrictions, campaign limits or fraud checks.
3. Joining a bounty
A listing is an invitation to apply, not a promise of work or payment. A publisher may approve or reject an application against stated eligibility criteria. Before publishing, check the complete brief, dates, platforms, required talking points, prohibited claims, disclosure rules, reward formula, cap and remaining campaign availability.
You choose how and when to create content and provide your own equipment. Nothing in these terms creates employment, worker, agency or partnership status; this classification must be confirmed with UK legal advice for the final operating model.
4. Content standards and disclosure
Your submission must be original or properly licensed, truthful, public and live for any period clearly stated in the brief. You must comply with platform rules, applicable advertising law and the Acceptable Use Policy. Paid or incentivised content must be obviously identifiable as advertising from the outset, using a prominent label such as “Ad” where required. Do not make claims the brief prohibits or that you cannot substantiate.
5. Ownership and permissions
You keep ownership of content you create. By submitting it, you give ReelBounty and the relevant publisher a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence for the campaign period and reasonable record-retention period to access, copy, store, display and analyse it for campaign review, verification, moderation, reporting and administration. Any paid media, editing, reposting or use beyond those operational purposes must be stated in the bounty brief or agreed separately.
You confirm that your content, music, footage, trademarks and featured people can lawfully be used in this way.
6. Metrics and rewards
Rewards are calculated only from the model shown on the bounty and are subject to its per-video cap, verification window and available creator budget. Public platform numbers may differ from verified metrics because of provider availability, timing, invalid engagement, deletions or corrections. Estimated and pending amounts are not owed or withdrawable. A reward becomes available only when marked confirmed.
ReelBounty may delay, correct, reverse or withhold a reward where the submission breaches the brief, metrics appear manipulated, a funding payment is disputed/refunded, law requires a hold, or an error occurred. We will record the reason and provide a review route where appropriate.
7. Payouts, tax and reporting
Payouts use Stripe Connect and require successful identity and bank onboarding. Minimums, timing, failure handling and holds are explained in the Payouts & Refunds Policy. You are responsible for your own tax, National Insurance, registrations and filings. ReelBounty or its providers may collect, verify and report seller identity, tax and earnings information where platform-reporting law requires it.
8. Reviews, removal and disputes
Publishers may review applications and submissions, while ReelBounty may intervene for platform integrity. If you disagree with a decision, use the dispute process promptly and provide supporting evidence. Do not delete or materially alter submitted content while verification or a required live period continues unless safety or law requires removal.
9. Suspension and ending the agreement
You may stop using ReelBounty and request account deletion, subject to unresolved campaigns and records we must retain. We may restrict or suspend access to protect users, comply with law, investigate misuse or enforce these terms. Confirmed legitimate earnings remain subject to payout checks; suspension does not make fraudulent or reversed rewards payable.
10. Availability and liability
Social platforms and third-party providers can change, restrict or interrupt their services. To the fullest extent permitted by law, ReelBounty is not responsible for lost reach, algorithm changes, indirect losses or creator costs not expressly approved in a bounty. Nothing excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded, including liability for fraud or death/personal injury caused by negligence.
11. Changes, law and contact
Material changes will be notified reasonably before they apply. English law governs these terms and the English courts have jurisdiction, without removing any mandatory rights you have in your home country. Contact support first so we can try to resolve a concern.
